Exposure to heat, neglect, dirt & grime are the main causes of metal surfaces to discolour, stain dull or fade over time.
There are a many different metals & metal finishes used throughout a car for cosmetic and structural reasons but before we can try to clean and revive the shine it’s important to identify what the material is that you’re looking to polish. Knowing the difference between say polished alloy and a chrome finish not only makes product selection easy but by choosing the right polish makes the job easier and delivers the maximum results.

WA's Pinnacles and the Stockyard Gully Track make for the perfect 4WD adventure
Approximately 247km north of the Perth, you will find the town of Cervantes, and a further 22km up the road is the picturesque town of Jurien Bay. Being small fishing towns, both make great places to get away for the weekend, if not longer. Within these towns you will find amazing beaches, great reefs for diving, and in Jurien there's a modern marina offering excellent boat launching facilities.

Tassie's more than just mud. The beach driving opportunities are superb!
We had three days before we needed to be on the boat out of Devonport, and we couldn't think of a better way to spend that time than to drive another of Tassie's great 4WD tracks.
You may remember a few years back when Roothy visited the north-east coast of Tasmania, and drove through a sandstorm to check out the amazing dunes of St Albans Bay. The nasty weather leading up to the Easter long-weekend had thankfully passed while we spent a few days in Hobart, and we were ready to get right into it again!
We set off from Hobart and hit the highway heading north.

Last Friday, the working day rolled around at about 10am as blokes were coming and going from various photo shoots and working on their trucks in the garage downstairs.
Word started going around about the possibility of a night trip to Stockton Beach.
Never before have you seen a more keen bunch of blokes ready to hit the tracks for the weekend.

Sources have revealed that Land Rover is set to go ahead with the development of the DC100 concept that went viral at the end of 2011.
Official prices are yet to be revealed but Land Rover is planning to set the price of the Defender below that of the Freelander, which is currently set in Australia at $44,990 (base model).
Land Rover Brand Boss, John Edwards, told Autocar that they were happy with the reaction they received from the DC100.
The DC100 bases itself on the Evoque style of 4WD which flirts dangerously with the vehicle being seen as an SUV.
